About the Media Specialist

My name is Brittany Hooker (AKA Mrs. H. or "Libeary Teacher"). This is my 11th year as the media specialist at Stark and my 18th year in education. I enjoy working with the teachers and students through story times, library lessons, research projects, and collaborative lessons while incorporating inquiry and multi-media technology skills. I earned my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, my Masters of Art in Teaching, and am certified in Library Media Instructional Technology (grades K-12). I love to learn and reading is a passion of mine...one that I will do my best to pass on to our students.
