About Us
Stark Elementary is the largest of three elementary schools in Butts County, GA and currently enrolls approximately 650 students. Our mascot is the eagle and our school colors are maroon and tan.
Highlights:
- North Mulberry Elementary was renamed Stark Elementary in 2008 and relocated to its current location at 209 Stark Rd
- Recognized as a "Pay for Performance" School in 2002-03 and 2003-04
- "Distinguished Title I" school in 2004 for meeting Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for 3 years
- "Distinguished Title I" school in 2005 and received $12,492.00 for meeting Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for 4 years
- North Mulberry Elementary School met AYP for 8 years
- "State of Georgia Governor's Office of Student Achievement Silver Award" in 2005
- Chosen as a stop on the 14th Annual Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education bus tour
